Shorin-ryu SEIBUKAN Karate & Okinawa JINBUKAN Kobudo & SHUDOKAN Aikido of RUSSIA

 

The studying of Shorin-ryu Karate Seibukan in Russia began in July 1997, after the arrival of Jamal Measara - chief instructor of Europe, in Valday, in Russia where the first seminar on Seibukan Karate held.  The seminar was conducted with the Anatoly Mitrofanov, who invited Jamal Measara to Russia.

 Anatoly Mitrofanov was born in 1962 in Krasnovodsk-city (USSR), in December 1995 he moved to take up permanent residence in Valday town, and he opened the School of East Martial Arts "Valday Budo Kaikan”.  Later in July 1997 by the invitation of J. Measara, students' “Valday Budo Kaikan” led by BudoAcademy Mitrofanov visited Europe - Kelhaim (Bavaria, Germany).  During the week the students learned the basics. Mitrofanov’s school Seibukan Karate under the guidance of Sensei Jamal Measara 7th Dan Okinawa-Karate.  Upon arrival in Russia, Mitrofanov in his school began to teach the foundations of Shorin-ryu karate Seibukan.  Over the next year, Mitrofanov has participated in international seminars of Shorin-ryu Karate Seibukan and hard studied particular style and teaching methods.

 In July 1998, A. Mitrofanov Seibukan continued to study Karate in Germany under the leadership of Jamal Measara and then learns a system of training and certification of school Seibukan.  J. Measara seeks to Patriarch style - rate Zenpo Shimabukuro 10th Dan black belt on the attribution of the 1st Dan A. Mitrofanov.  Since September 1998, began the systematic teaching of this style of karate by Mitrofanov in Valday.  It is a series of seminars organized by J. Measara.  And finally, in 1999, Anatoly Mitrofanov moved to live in Velikiy Novgorod, began teaching Shorin-ryu Karate Seibukan in Velikiy Novgorod.  In May 2000, a seminar was held in Velikiy Novgorod, who conducted the Patriarch Style - O-Sensei Shimabukuro Zenpo 10th Dan (Okinawa, Japan), he helped the Chief Instructor of Okinawa Karate of Europe Sensei Jamal Measara 7th Dan.  Since then, A. Mitrofanov, has received a license to provide International Okinawan Shorin-ryu Seibukan Karate Association in Russia.  Since 2000, Anatoly Mitrofanov, is officially represent of the International Okinawan Shorin-ryu Seibukan Karate (Okinawa, Japan) in Russia.

 Since the summer of 2002, Anatoly Mitrofanov, along with the Shorin-ryu Karate Seibukan begins to study and teach Okinawa Jinbukan Kobudo.  And with the fall of 2002, all students Anatoly Mitrofanov shifted to a joint study Seibukan Karate and Jinbukan Kobudo.  In October 2005, Anatoly Mitrofanov has received a license to submit to Russia - Association Okinawa Karate-Kobudo JINBUKAI.  From January 2007 to mid-and senior students entered the studying of Shudokan Aikido.

 7 February 2007, Anatoly Mitrofanov for skill and knowledge, the World Karate Union (WKU) has been assigned to 7th Dan in Karate and the rank of professor of the International Martial Arts College.  In September 2007, Russia invited the patriarch Seibukan Karate - Zenpo Shimabukuro (Japan), which was satisfied with the level of training of apprentices Mitrofanov.

 The main objective of occupation - the physical improvement and sustainable skills in self-defense on the street.  Many involved in participating in various competitions, such as: Fighting freestyle, Ju-Jutsu, Combat Sambo, Universal Karate, kickboxing, Karate Kata, Kobudo Kata, Kumibo, Goshinjutsu, etc. Among the students Seibukan Jinbukan Russia are many champions of Turkmenistan, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, United Arab Emirates, Moldova, the three champions of Europe, many winners of international competitions.  In 2004, students and Seibukan Jinbukan Russia has successfully participated in the II-m World Cup 2004 on Seibukan Karate, held in the United Arab Emirates, and became the World Cup prize.

 Instructors and students regularly participate in seminars of Okinawa Karate, Kobudo and Aikido held both in Russia and abroad.  Every year in Bavaria (Germany) Summer Camp is held on Okinawa Karate and Kobudo in which instructors Seibukan Karate and Jinbukan Kobudo Russia permanent members.  In addition to classes in the sports camp, daily engaged in BudoAcademy of Europe, where knowledge of Karate, Kobudo and Aikido have and also excellent knowledge of English and German languages. Seibukan Leadership Karate Russia involved in organizing for their annual summer camp in Bulgaria.

 Currently, the main hall Seibukan Karate Russia is located in the city of Velikiy Novgorod. President, Chief Instructor and Chief Examiner of Shorin-ryu Karate Seibukan Russia - Sensei Anatoly A. Mitrofanov, 4th Dan Shorin-ryu Seibukan Karate and 3rd Dan Okinawa Jinbukan Kobudo .  Instructor and curator of permanent Shorin-ryu Seibukan Karate and Okinawa Jinbukan Kobudo of Russia - Kyoshi Jamal Measara 7th Dan (Chief Instructor of Europe on Okinawa karate and Kobudo).  Shorin-ryu Seibukan Karate and Okinawa Jinbukan Kobudo of Russia is under expansion. 

    Anatoly Mitrofanov invites all teachers, teaching Karate and Kobudo and who are interested in gaining knowledge of Shorin-ryu Seibukan Karate, Okinawa Jinbukan Kobudo and Shudokan Aikido cooperation.
